Consent to publishing personal data in the public profile

Who gives the consent

The consent is given by the owner of the BardWay account who makes the public profile visible. Together with the consent, the operator keeps the information that identifies this person: the account identifier, the username, the account’s e-mail address (if it has one), the date and time of the consent, and the IP address and browser information it was given from.

Operator

Evgeniy Igorevich Telegin (Телегин Евгений Игоревич), an individual registered in Russia as self-employed under the professional income tax regime. E-mail: info@bardway.com. We give a postal address for letters on request to this e-mail.

Where the data is published

On the public profile page at an address like https://bardway.com/user/profile/<username>. A link to the profile may appear on the home page https://bardway.com and in the page design of other streamers who recommend you.

Purpose

Showing my public profile to the website’s visitors so that viewers can learn about me as a streamer.

What data is published

While the profile is public, the following is shown:

  • the username in the profile address;
  • the display name: by default, the nickname of the platform that confirms my identity (for VK — the first and last name, for YouTube — the Google account name) with a badge and the platform name; “Anonymous” if I choose it in the settings or my identity is not confirmed;
  • the profile picture, if there is one;
  • the icons of the Twitch and YouTube platforms connected to my project, with links to the channels.

Shown only if I have filled them in myself (I choose each category separately by filling in the field or leaving it empty):

  • first name;
  • last name;
  • country;
  • city;
  • the languages I speak;
  • the “About” text;
  • musical instruments;
  • favorite songs;
  • links to my channels, social networks and other resources.

Special categories of personal data and biometric data are not published. The profile picture is not used to identify anyone.

Conditions and restrictions

Access to the data is given to anyone over the internet. The operator asks search engines not to index profile pages but cannot guarantee this. Visitors can save what they see, and the operator cannot prevent that.

At any time I may prohibit the transfer of this data to anyone (other than giving access to it) and set prohibitions or conditions on its processing by anyone — including for any category listed above — by writing to info@bardway.com. The operator may not refuse to set such prohibitions and conditions and publishes information about them within three working days of receiving the request.

By default I set no additional conditions or prohibitions.

Duration and withdrawal

The consent is valid from the moment I give it until I withdraw it.

I can withdraw the consent at any time: by hiding the profile with the switch on the profile page — the profile stops being shown at once — or by asking to stop the publication in an e-mail to info@bardway.com, giving my username, a contact for the reply and the data that should no longer be shown. The consent ends in that part when the request is received, and the operator hides that data as soon as it receives the e-mail.

Hiding the profile withdraws the consent. After that the profile data stays in my account and is not visible to visitors; I can delete it myself. To make the profile public again, the consent must be given again.

The operator keeps the record of the consent and of its withdrawal (date and time, IP address and browser information) as long as my account exists and for 3 years after it is deleted, to show that the consent was given and when it was withdrawn.
