What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way. They let the website remember that you are signed in, which language you chose and which display settings you set.

This policy supplements the Privacy Policy and applies to the website bardway.com.

Which cookies we use

Only our own functional cookies of the bardway.com domain, without which the website does not work. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party counters, scripts or fonts on the website. We do not pass the data from cookies to anyone.

As these cookies are needed for the website to work, there is nothing to switch on or off on the website: the cookie notice only tells you about them.

Cookies

  • songly.token — the sign-in token of your account; 7 days.
  • csn — the session key; 7 days; not available to page scripts.
  • crt — the session renewal token; 7 days; not available to page scripts.
  • oauth_tx — protection against request forgery when you sign in with VK ID, Twitch or Google, confirm your identity or connect a platform; 10 minutes.
  • vk_pkce — a verification code for VK ID; 10 minutes.
  • i18n_locale — the interface language you chose; 1 year.
  • bw_geo — the country, city and region determined from your IP address, to show the language, prices and documents for your region; 3 days.
  • bw_currency — the currency you chose on the pricing page; 1 year.
  • bw_consent — a mark that you have seen the cookie notice; 1 year.

Local storage

Kept in your browser until you clear it:

  • bardway-color-mode — the colour theme;
  • songly_anon_id — a random anonymous viewer identifier for request limits;
  • bardway.learn-viewer — an anonymous key for “Learn a song” voting;
  • bw_page_size_… — how many rows to show in tables;
  • bw-learn-panel-open — whether the streamer’s “Learn a song” panel is collapsed;
  • bardway.login-setup-later… — when you postponed setting up a sign-in method (the window appears again after 12 hours).

Session storage

Deleted when you close the tab:

  • bardway.post-login-redirect — which page to return you to after signing in;
  • bardway.oauth-intent, bardway.oauth-link-purpose — what you are doing on the platform’s side: signing in, confirming your identity, connecting a platform or a sign-in method;
  • bardway.login-setup-pending…, bardway.login-setup-done… — the progress of setting up a sign-in method;
  • bw_donation_return_slug — which streamer to return you to after connecting a donation service;
  • nuxt:reload, nuxt:reload:state — service data for reloading the page after a website update.

How to delete cookies

You can delete cookies and website data in your browser settings. After that you will have to sign in again, and the language and display settings will be reset.

Changes

If the list of cookies changes, we will update this page and its date. New kinds of cookies — for example, analytics ones — will appear only with your separate consent.
